Mark Bradshaw

Mark Bradshaw is one of the most exciting new film composers to emerge from Australia in recent years.  Mark collaborated with Jane Campion as composer and musician on her recent ten-part TV drama Top of the Lake, two short films The Lady Bug and her BAFTA and Oscar-nominated feature film Bright Star.  Other recent credits include the film Resistance, an adaptation of Owen Shears’ successful novel.  He graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Sydney and completed his postgraduate course at the University of Sydney. He has composed music for several other short films including The Mirage, which he also produced.

Mark has written for a wide variety of ensembles, including acapella chorus, string quartet and string orchestra. He has quickly developed an original voice as a composer and performer through extensive touring with his string/electronic/voice ensemble, Mark Bradshaw And The Like.
